Philip E. Doty, CPA

Phil Doty serves as counsel for EKS&H and has been involved in public accounting since 1967. He has served hundreds of public and private companies in a wide variety of industries, including oil and gas, mining, nonprofit, professional services and distribution. He has extensive experience with public and private offerings, mergers and acquisitions, internal auditing, litigation consulting, due diligence and benefit plan audits.

His professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is the past president of the Colorado State Board of Accountancy, the Colorado Society of CPAs, and the Petroleum Accountants Society. In addition, he has served as a volunteer board member and treasurer of numerous professional, industry and community organizations, and currently serves on the boards of the Boy Scouts, the Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Colorado Children’s Chorale.
