EKS&H Opens Office in Boulder

DENVER, July 20, 2007 – Ehrhardt Keefe Steiner & Hottman PC (EKS&H), the largest Colorado-based accounting and business advisory firm, announced the opening of its Boulder office. EKSH has a main office in Denver and opened an office in Fort Collins in 2005.  The new office will service the firm’s current Boulder-area clients and enable it to expand its services to other companies located in Boulder County and nearby areas.

“We’ve been servicing numerous clients in Boulder County for some time,” said Bob Hottman, CEO of EKS&H. “Having an office in the area will allow us to provide continued quality service to this group of clients, as well as potential new clients.” 

Principals Hy Harris and Jim Cowgill will head up the firm’s new office. Hy has worked in public accounting since 1979 and has extensive experience providing tax planning and compliance services to individuals, corporations and partnerships in the real estate, manufacturing, distribution, healthcare and hospitality industries. Jim has worked in public accounting since 1991 and serves closely-held businesses and public companies in a variety of industries, including high-technology, manufacturing, leasing, distribution, franchising, hospitality, retail and professional services. Hy and Jim will be initially supported by over ten other experienced audit, tax and consulting professionals.
