Robert B. Hottman, CPA
Bob Hottman is the chief executive officer of EKS&H and has been providing accounting and advisory services for individuals, closely held businesses and public companies in the manufacturing, distribution, real estate, hospitality, club and service industries since 1977. Bob has vast experience in helping clients develop strategic plans, improve operations, develop information systems and plan for change and growth. He has served as an expert witness in various litigation cases.
Bob has a Bachelor of Science degree with emphases in accounting and marketing from Colorado State University. His professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants. Bob is past president of industry associations and is active in a variety of community organizations. He is a certified public accountant in Colorado and Wyoming.
M. Kent McSparran
Kent McSparran is a Principal in the Consulting Service Area of EKS&H and has more than 25 years of experience as both a business owner and a trusted advisor. His experience as a consultant to hundreds of businesses is complimented by his personal experience starting, growing and ultimately selling a very successful Management Consulting firm. This dual role as a business owner and a Management Consultant gives him a unique insight into the requirements of building a successful business.
McSparran has a passion for improving business performance and provides counsel to closely held companies and family businesses. His focus is on growth and profit solutions as well as business succession/transition planning. McSparran was formerly President of The Denver Management Group and Senior Vice President of Keane Consulting Group.
