I enjoy woodworking, and have leveraged that hobby to build my children’s bedroom furniture, including a changing table, dressers, and even beds.

Experience

As the partner-in-charge of our data management practice for the Rocky Mountain region, I deliver custom analytics solutions. With 20 years of technology consulting and project management experience, I specialize in state and local government, higher education, and the K-12 industry. My expertise includes data warehousing, system integrations, master data management, data governance, and infrastructure. Whether my clients are new to analytics or want to advance their current environment, our engagements typically start with an assessment to solidify their vision and create a roadmap. After that, we move to an implementation that includes industry best practices and methodologies, training, development, mentoring, and support. They appreciate that I embed myself into their organization as a trusted business advisor who focuses on their success, regardless of the size of the initiative.

One of my greatest accomplishments with the firm was when a colleague and I revived a client’s project that had been implemented by another firm, and then quickly shelved. We demonstrated how we could re-architect the failed solution using the same technologies, thereby, resolving the fundamental issues that caused the project to fail. We successfully implemented a solution that remains operational more than six years later.

Because of my expertise, I’m often asked to speak to various groups on topics related to data management, including data warehousing, data quality, master data management, and data integration. Recently, I spoke at a construction consortium, representing 12 companies across the United States, which focused on business analytics. I received a B.S. in management information systems and finance from Florida State University. I’m proud to have received the state of Colorado’s Contractor of the Year award.

My family includes three young children. We enjoy skiing and snowboarding in the winter, and our summer activities include camping, fly-fishing, and travel.
